Ahhh! Im getting close to the finishing line, and its been 5 years since Ive done this! To calm my nerves and help with my nesting instincts Ive decided to put some effort into making a chic hospital bag set up. Last time I brought so many baby care products that I just didnt need- the hospital provides so much! This time Im packing personal essentials that will help my stay feel more stylish and less medical-ish.
See below for what Ive packed so far:
1.) Hotel San Jose robe- This robe is perfect- its colorful, cozy, not too hot, and will help bring in some good vibes to our room (even if Im wearing weird netted underwear underneath, lol) Im hoping it will also help me look semi presentable when we have visitors stopping by.
2.) Vitners Daughter Active Botanical Serum- Ive talked about this miracle serum on Instagram but it truly is one of my “must haves”. For me, its part aromatherapy and part moisturizer, and I know smelling this serum on my face will make me feel at home.
3.) Baby’s Comin’ home outfit. This is the only thing Im packing for baby (minus the car seat) since I know the hospital will have everything else I need for his stay at the hospital.
4.) The Bag! We realized we only had suitcases with wheels or smaller carry bags. This bag I found on Amazon is the perfect size for the hospital stay, and because it has a long zipper and isn’t too deep, things will be easy to access.
5.) Comfy Slippers- Sure, they give you socks at the hospital, but I know I will want something easy to slip on when going to the bathroom, and walking around the cold floors of the room/ ward. My husband got me these for Xmas and they are the best slippers Ive ever owned! I rock them at my local coffee shop and all around my house.
6.) Cosabella Maternity Pajama Set- Heres the money set- pure luxury- soft and comfy bottoms, long tank that has a nursing clip, and a cover, Im going to be living in this on day 2
7.) Waterproof Mascara- Im anticipating lots of sweat, tears and smiles, hoping this serious “funeral proof” mascara helps me through!
8.) Face wipes- Similar sentiment as above, I know ill be getting sweaty and grimy, so hopefully these help me feel clean. They are my go to face wipes
9.) Natural Nipple Cream- this stuff is amazing! I even use it on my cracked skin and lips
10.) Protein Bars- These have been my go-to my whole pregnancy
Comment below and let me know if Im missing anything!
